1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Lunot mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Lunot is an AI-powered women's health and menstrual cycle tracking application. Features include:
- PCOS & Endo Deep Mode (4-tab)
- Smart cycle tracking & predictions
- AI health companion (Docie)
- Supplement Routine (70+ supplements)
- Symptom Detective with Trends tab
- Cycle-synced workouts & delete
- HealthKit integration
- Cycle insights & statistics
- Interactive Body Map
- Pregnancy & perimenopause modes
- Breathing & focus exercises
- Moon phase & cosmic insights
- Hormone lab tracking (HOMA-IR)
- Incognito mode with biometric lock

3. Medical Disclaimer
LUNOT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE.
The App — including all AI-generated responses from Docie, cycle predictions, symptom analysis, PCOS/endometriosis information, hormone lab result interpretation, supplement recommendations, and pregnancy or perimenopause guidance — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns. Do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycle predictions are statistical estimates and may not be accurate for your individual cycle. PCOS type inference and lab value assessments are for informational reference only — not clinical diagnosis.
Supplement information provided in the app is based on published research and is for educational purposes. Always consult your doctor before starting any supplement, especially if you have existing conditions or take medications.
Emergency: If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately (911 in the US). Do not rely on this App in emergencies.
4. User Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
- Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent
- You must provide accurate information during sign-in
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person; you may not share your account
5. Account & Authentication
Sign-In Methods
Lunot supports authentication via Sign in with Apple — a secure, privacy-preserving login using your Apple ID.
Your account credentials are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a centralised user database.
Account Security
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at lunot.appteam@gmail.com
- Enable Incognito Mode and biometric lock for additional security
6. Your Data
- You retain full ownership of all health data you enter into the App — cycle logs, symptoms, PCOS daily logs, lab results, supplement records, and workout entries
- All data is stored locally on your device — we do not have access to it
- You can delete individual entries (including workout logs) directly within the App at any time
- You can export or delete all your data at any time from the App's Settings
- Deleting a workout log immediately removes its calorie contribution from all summaries and history

7. Subscription & Payments
Lunot requires a premium subscription to access all features. Subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store.

What's Included
Your subscription unlocks all App features, including the PCOS & Endo Deep Mode, Supplement Routine tracker with 70+ supplements, Symptom Detective Trends, AI companion Docie, and all future feature updates during your subscription period.
Billing Terms
- Subscription auto-renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Auto-renewal can be turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- All purchases are processed and managed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change the subscription price. You will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
8. AI Companion (Docie) Terms
Nature of AI Responses
- Docie is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI and provides general wellness information only
- AI responses are not medical advice and may not always be accurate or complete
- Do not make medical decisions — including supplement choices or PCOS management — based solely on Docie's responses
- We are not liable for any action taken based on AI-generated content
Data Sent to AI
When you chat with Docie, a summary of your cycle context (cycle day, phase, today's health metrics, recent symptom history, and relevant health profile information) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your response. Your PCOS lab values, supplement stack, and detailed health logs are not automatically included unless you explicitly share them in the conversation. This is covered in detail in our Privacy Policy.
9. PCOS & Endometriosis Mode
The PCOS & Endo Deep Mode provides a four-tab interface for detailed condition management:
- Today tab — Log up to 20 PCOS-specific symptoms, 9 intensity scales, period flow and colour, fertility signs (cervical mucus, OPK), sleep quality, metabolic markers, and exercise type
- Trends tab — 14-day line charts, symptom frequency bars, pattern insights, and weight trend analysis
- Labs tab — Track hormone panels (testosterone, LH/FSH, AMH, DHEA-S, prolactin), metabolic labs (fasting insulin, glucose, HbA1c), and thyroid. HOMA-IR and LH/FSH ratio are auto-calculated. PCOS type is inferred from your lab values for informational reference.
- Guide tab — Evidence-based supplement protocols, anti-inflammatory dietary guidance, and a doctor checklist
All PCOS data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. Lab interpretations and PCOS type inferences are for self-education only — not clinical diagnosis.
10. Supplement Routine
The Supplement Routine feature provides access to a catalogue of 70+ evidence-based supplements across 10 categories. You can build a personal stack, log daily adherence, and view 30-day efficacy trends for energy and mood impact. Supplement information is sourced from published research and is for informational purposes only. Always consult your healthcare provider before adding supplements to your routine.
11. Privacy & Security Features
Lunot includes the following privacy features that you may use at your discretion:
- Incognito Mode — Requires biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID) to open the app
- Auto-lock — Automatically locks the app when sent to the background
These features are designed to protect your privacy from people who may have access to your device. Lunot is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to enable these features.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
- Upload, transmit, or introduce malicious code
- Misuse the AI companion to generate harmful or misleading health content
- Impersonate another person or provide false information
- Use the App in any way that could harm other users
13. Intellectual Property
- The Lunot name, logo, design, and all original App content are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law
- We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your Apple devices
- You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content
- This licence terminates immediately if you violate these Terms
14. Third-Party Services
- Apple HealthKit — Optional. Reads steps, sleep, heart rate, and activity; writes cycle and symptom data back. Governed by Apple's terms.
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — Powers Docie. Your cycle context is sent to Anthropic's API per session. Governed by Anthropic's terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit — Handles all subscription payments. Governed by Apple's terms.
- Sign in with Apple — Secure authentication. Governed by Apple's terms.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
15. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF CYCLE PREDICTIONS, AI RESPONSES, PCOS TYPE INFERENCES, HORMONE LAB INTERPRETATIONS, SUPPLEMENT EFFICACY ASSESSMENTS, OR ANY OTHER HEALTH-RELATED OUTPUTS.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LUNOT AND ITS TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, HEALTH DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON THE APP, SUPPLEMENT INTERACTIONS, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lunot and its team from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
18. Termination
By You
- Stop using the App at any time
- Delete your account via Profile → Settings → Delete Account
- Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account or local data
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or for any reason with 30 days' notice. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification and by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
20. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded Lunot from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Lunot, not Apple
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you
- In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms, the Apple terms shall prevail
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or collective proceedings, except where prohibited by law.
22. Acknowledgment
BY USING LUNOT, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
